About Me

"It is time we all see gender as spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals. We should stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by who we are".

After my master's degree in pharmacology graduation, I worked two years in a pharmacology laboratory at the Collège de France in Paris, France, as an engineer. I realised it was not for me and try to find myself. I want to do more at a larger scale, to touch and sensibilize more people about not only diseases and the difficulties to find treatments and cures but also about the inequality between women and men. There is what I lived and what women live day after day without knowing that some things should never happened to anybody, women, and men!
I integrate the MBA Digital Project, Consulting & Innovation from ESAM school to allies my first love, the sciences, with the digital world. The world is in constant digital movement, no matter if it is a man or a woman behind the computer, we need all the talents we can get to travel in that faster and faster digital world. I was always sensitive by this difference between women and men. A gender does not make a person. I think that cooperation is the future. But for that, we need to change the mentalities and education of men and women. That is my project! But I do not forget the biology, because women health is a crucial point of the women emancipation. It is not men health modified to become women health because, even in front of medicine men are superior: it is made by men to and for men and after that, changed to fit women.
That is why I want to be a project leader and a manager. I would be polyvalent and adapt myself to situations. Digital projects can be made in a large scale and touch a lot of people. I will continue and start projects for women and their health for, finally, having equality between women and men in our society.

Yes, it is me, petite in front of the big tree. I chose this picture made in Japan, to symbolize that the tree represents the future beautiful world, even with few crutches. And I alone, tiny as a bug, know that it will not be easy or fast to attend my purpose.

Support in the financing and management of innovation November 2019 - March 2020 (5 months)

- Analyse and identify our clients' R&D processes and projects, - Establish a scientific and competitive watch for our clients, - Formalize the technical and financial documentation in the context of funding research (Research Tax Credit / Innovation, Bpifrance, H2020), - Participate in pre-sales meetings and analysis of our clients' innovation activities, - Reflect and formalize a study of the role and impact of public funding in the articulation of the phases of exploration and exploitation within the innovation strategy of our clients.

Laboratory

Laboratory "Central neuropeptides and hydric and cardiovascular regulation" - INSERM Unit 1050 - CIRB - Collège de France - Université Paris Descartes 2016 - 2017 (2 years)

Direction: Dr. C. Llorens-Cortès Subject: "Study of metabolically stable analogues of apelin in hyponatremia and polycystic kidney disease" I was involved, on the one hand, in pharmacology studies to characterize in vitro different agonists of the apelin receptor recently patented, binding experiments and measurement of different second messengers. On the other hand, she will also be involved in renal physiology work. She will have to determine the activity of these agonists in the treatment of hyponatremia and renal polycystosis, fourth cause of renal insufficiency and dialysis. Two animal models will be used. Main activities: I mainly performed in vitro experiments to pharmacologically characterize the new apelin receptor agonists and then evaluate their in vivo activity in rodents.

Education

MBA

ESAM - Digital Project, Consulting & Innovation October 2020

The program is meant to break the codes for tomorrow's world. It integrates the influence of the technologies (blockchain, IA, Big data, ...) on the business strategy and organisazation of the company and its different roles. It's based not only on the technologies but also on the human aspect that make company greater. Because people has a better comprehension of what and why they are doing and on structural methodologies as AGILE and PMP. Everything in the MBA Digital Project, Consulting & Innovation is put in place to make us the best managers and the best project leaders. The world is changing so fast with a perpetual digital transfromation, that's why the MBA prepare us to think outside the box.

Master 2

Master of Science in Pharmaceuticals and Health Products - Course: Medicinal chemistry and molecular pharmacology 2015

Objectives: To complete the knowledge in molecular pharmacology, biology, and cellular pharmacology. The objective is to acquire basic knowledge essential in chemistry for the validation of a pathological target, the design of therapeutic agents assisted by molecular modelling, the study of structure-activity relationships, pharmacological, metabolic, and toxicological studies. 6-month internship in a research laboratory supported by a large network of accredited research units.

My parents come from Mauritius Island. Heavenly island, beautiful beach, sun and heat all the year. And one of the most important aspect is multitude of cultures: Indian, Creole, Chinese, and all the variant of those religion. That makes a great melting pot. And that includes the food! The Mauritian Gastronomy is from all those traditions and cultures. My parents chose to raise my siblings and I in this abundance that of cuisine, that influences each other's over time. For me, the World cuisine my "madeleine de Proust" and also "un art de vivre".
I started to sew because I did not feet exactly in the ready made close. I think that all women are different so why everybody was wearing the same clothes, tailored in the same ways? So, I decided to make my own custom-made clothing (not all my clothes, that would demand a tremendous amount of work and I was steel a student when I started). After clothes (dresses, Indian traditional outfit, top, pants, etc), I made accessories such as handbags, pencil case, I even made a pear-shaped pouffe for my 2 years old godson.
In primary school, my parents enrolled me in judo. At first it was just another sport, but with fewer girls than boys! I must have been eight or nine years old. Then I did a second year. The SeiseÏ still made no distinction between girls and boys. Judo transmitted its values, which grew in me as I practised this martial art. I practised it in competitions and those for nine years. Then I got injured and had to stop the sport completely.
Only two years ago, I was able to resume sports and I started Wing Chun (kung fu) next to my home, which I particularly liked because of the use of the whole body with a lot of skill and ingenuity like in judo, but differently! And at the same time, I started kickboxing, it's a complete and varied foot-fist boxing, excellent for developing a fluid and mobile style. Then I got the Covid-19 and everything stopped for me.
